ForPilots Logbook, as its name indicates, is a logbook for pilots. This application caters for professional and student pilots alike. This program displays a smart user interface, which we can customize to our own needs and preferences. There is a huge number of fields that we can add to our logbook, such as date, remarks, total time, landings, takeoffs, holds, tracking, oil used/cost, fuel used/cost, flight cost, deduct percentage, and many more. Alternatively, we can use the "Quick Profile" menu to choose a tailor-made logbook for any of the following position: basic private pilot, average private pilot, instrument private pilot, commercial pilot, cargo/transport pilot, and certified flight instructor. Depending on our selection, the program displays nine tabbed windows for logbook, aircraft, aircraft types, aircraft status, type status, flight graph, aircraft graph, type graph, and pilot.
Each tabbed window shows our customized fields. We can start entering data in each field as we like best. There is also a toolbar from where we can make backups, restore a backup, repair logbook, import/export documents, repair index files, add and edit flights, lock/unlock interface for data loss prevention, etc.
We can evaluate the fully featured version of this product free of charge without any time limit. This program runs under the following operating systems: Windows XP, 2000, ME, NT, 98, and 95.
